I guess because we are all broken, we cannot expect perfection from those in Government who lead us. Your point about selecting/appointing/electing good leaders is so important. It is frustrating when those offered to represent us often come with vested interests and their own agenda.
I loved your conclusion, my words, of speaking about issues with Jesus in mind.
I totally 100% agree that Facebook is not the place to do this, but as I mentioned in a previous post, it is SO frustrating, disappointing, when we see decisions being made from local to state to federal level, which simply do not seem to have the wider public interest in mind but only reflect powerful lobby groups which either throw money or political influence in the direction of those who are elected.
We pray and we remain faithful to Jesus.
