Is there a specific style you would use for sermons in a children's church setting?

So - what becomes of the BCP?

Well, I guess one answer would be: "It lives!" (i.e. in a somewhat Cranmerian way, it reworks and re-presents what is valuable in the old in a way that is edifying in the present)

Another answer (for those of us who are Anglican) is that when we take the time to frame our meetings together on the theological principles and logic of the BCP, it makes it very possible (and helpful) to run pretty straight prayer book services from time to time -- to keep us anchored in that heritage.

So thankful for your thoughts. Excellent! Dr. Ashley Null makes a good case for the "center" of the liturgy (communion) being the Comfortable Words. So I start with the law (Jesus' summary) and response (mercy!) then sing then sermon... leading to absolution/Comfortable words. That way people hear the Law, Gospel, then respond in comfort.
