I’ve laced a piercing 3-iron that comes to rest just a few feet from the green. And there I stand, having taken two shots to be just short of the green on a par 5.
3 excellent helpful and encouraging summer holiday articles. As I reflect on these, I am very aware that every now and then, memories haunt me of my stupidity and foolishness. It is good I thank God for Jesus at these times! And then there are also the memories of various hurts from others. Again painful and hard to shake, especially without any real hope of reconciliation. It leaves me longing for heavenly days.
And yet it doesn't really feel like a clean slate, when the family members you yelled at yesterday are still there in the morning suffering the consequences of your actions...
