Two Ways News: first edition coming soon …
Dear friends
Welcome to almost the first edition of Two Ways News.
You might be reading this as a Payneful Truth subscriber (Two Ways News is the rebranded incarnation of that newsletter); or as someone on the email list of Two Ways Ministries (this new newsletter is for you as well). Or perhaps you’re someone who has found us in some other way.
Whatever the case, we were planning for the first edition to be winging its way to you today (Oct 13). But perhaps we should have paid a little closer attention to James 4:14-15:
… you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.”
We have not exactly vanished (yet), but the mist of our lives has certainly been blown around recently by technological glitches and unforeseen delays.
The upshot of which is that—if the Lord wills!—our first edition will come out mid-next week, not today as we had planned. Apologies.
In the meantime, you could:
check out the Two Ways News website, and browse back through past editions of The Payneful Truth (all of which are available there);
have a look at the ‘About’ page that describes what this new newsletter and podcast is … about;
and pray for us as we get the final details together for edition #1.

One of the glitches we’ve been working through is whether to send the newsletter and podcast out as separate emails or in the one email (as I did with The Payneful Truth). Contrary to what I thought a few weeks ago, it now seems that it will be best to continue to send the two components out as part of the same email. So you’ll just be receiving one thing each week (containing both podcast and newsletter). Hope that makes sense!
